On her blog “The Bruising Adventures of Girl Clumsy”, Natalie has just shared a story about jokes that go flat with the person you are telling (just listen to episode 90 of Erk Pod of some examples of that) and about seeing a massive calculator at Officeworks. That brought back memories of the giant remote that I brought last year mainly for comic effect. It actually does work as a universal remote control but it uses only 2 AA batteries!
This reminds me of the giant oversized novelty cheques that they give out on game shows and at sporting presentations. You can actually get them done yourself and I remember seeing a website where you can get it done for about $250.
