Follow US 95 into Oregon and Idaho to Boise
Follow US 30/I-84 to Portland
Follow I-5 to Tacoma
Route 16 to Port Angeles
Ferry to Victoria (Canadia) SO FAR SO GOOD NOW….
DRIVE UP HIGHWAY TO SIDNEY (17ISH MILES)
TAKE TSAWASSEN FERRY TO MAINLAND (VANCOUVER) THEN
DRIVE TO SEATTLE VIA I-5
REASON:
ELIMINATE A DOUBLE-BACK REPEAT OF THE PORT ANGELES TO TACOMA,
SEE THE PUGET SOUND FROM THE EAST SIDE,
POP OVER TO ANACORDES FROM I-5 (CUTE SEASIDE TOWN)
DO A LOOP, INSTEAD OF TWO UP AND BACKS TO SEATTLE/TACOMA (23 MILES APART)
oh, I forgot… the Tsawassen Ferry is 90 min and has a great chance to see migrating Killer Whales from it… you see so many of the islands of the Straits of Juan De Fuca. Easy drive into Vancouver from the Ferry Terminal too.
Erk, You might just want to stay on 95 south when going from Baltimore to DC. 95 is 4 lanes wide and 295 is only 2 lanes. of course 295, the parkway, is a ‘nicer’ drive but if there is any kind of traffic you’ll hate it. Tim’s house is right off of 95 as well. His back yard back’s up to it. Still hoping you buy you a beer if you have time.

Are you going there with anyone?!
Remember, an experience is something that should be shared! :)
