Now that the new OSCAR trains are being used on the Central Coast, North Shore, North & Western lines, I get more of a chance to see them rather than just on the short Central – Sydenham section on their South Coast journeys. Here’s some pics.

Above – An OSCAR train makes a stop at Auburn on its way to Central and then the Central Coast via the North Shore.

Above – While I am stopped at a signal, a South Coast bound OSCAR passes me in the opposite direction near Eveleigh. Due to repair work on the overhead wiring on the usual track that this train runs on (out of sight to the right of frame), the train has been diverted to the track closest to me.

Above two photos – An OSCAR train bound for Blacktown waits departure at Central.
