Echo Romeo Kilo One One – episode 8. Show Notes

Echo Romeo Kilo One One – episode 8. 38 minutes

In this episode:

  • Erk is live on location at Westiefield (again)
  • The story of Riley Street between stage 1 and stage 2
  • The local Boys & Girls in Blue have a look from their car (twice!) at Erk and probably wonder what he is doing
  • Special Guest: Leigh the Voice Over Guy
  • EDIT: It was Rensselaer County in New York state that incorrectly allowed absentee voters to vote for Barrack Osama instead of Barrack Obama. The mistake was found (oh really? Thank you Captain Obvious!) and people on election day got the correct version.
  • Leigh talks about being a Voice Over Guy & Radio
  • Today’s train myth: Train drivers don’t read timetables (we do!)
  • Leigh talks us through timetabling for special events and normal day to day timetables
  • Will Leigh be back on radio for Xmas Day this year?
  • Bonus – The Voice Over Guy Off. Vote for Orange Tim or Leigh the Voice Over Guy via email erkpod@gmail.com

  1. Cool interview, Erk. Enjoyed hearing Leigh’s stories about his Adventures in Voiceover.

  2. After listening to today’s interview with Leigh, I have a much better understanding of how voice over work goes. Was considering maybe doing something like that “someday”, but, I’m still not too sure. Really interesting to learn about, though.

Still don’t entirely understand the train schedule thing, but, I do get that it’s complicated. And that’s probably all I need to know about it.

    Great show today!
