Sometimes I feel a little creative at work. It certainly can be a great way to help me see things in a different way and also to use some creative juice. It also can stop me from grumbling about being on Super Duper Early Mornings. Anyhoo, here’s some pics from today:
Above – this photo started as a way of photographing yet another type of signal at stop while I was stopped at it. When I took the photo, the light was red. When the shutter went off, the light was green. The image captured a moment where the red light was going out and the green light was on. This was not visible to the naked eye.
Above – “Number 34 to the Bistro! Number 34 to the Bistro!”
Actually, this is a sign for platforms 3 & 4 at Campbelltown station. As you’ll see in the next photo, the number 34 now looks like the number 43.
Above – An interesting sight at Liverpool on platform 1. The tactile tiles and the yellow line warning seem to pre-date the fence. At least I hope that is the case! The edge of the platform was re-done which reduces the gap between the train and the platform. However the platform is a bit longer than the longest train that stops at the platform so some of the platform edge was fenced off.
Above – Erk studies a new emergency sticker on his train that is designed to glow in the dark in case of lighting failure.
Above – It is dawn at the Depot. It’s not massively dark but it isn’t light either. An InterCity train awaits it’s next journey.
